This is the westernmost of the pretty little towns along the flow of Ohře River, right on the German-Czech border. It is famous mostly due to the block of old houses in the middle of the main square, called Špalíček (meaning Wooden Block in Czech). There is also a partly preserved castle built in 1180 a.d., remains of city fortifications, several temples and monasteries and other places of interest.
